THIS IS BETA
The feature that allows team captioning has both advantages, and disadvantages.
As the name suggests, this allows you to work together to caption an event with a colleague by taking turns.
THIS IS IMPORTANT, DO NOT SKIP THIS
Because of the way that text is transmitted between captioners, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE FULL TEXT.
THE TEXT YOU HAVE CAPTIONED WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL DOWNLOAD AT THIS TIME.
You also cannot go back to correct text while your colleague is captioning. There is a 1 person typing limit.
Ok so after you make sure you have understood the disadvantage as well, here's how to do it.
Open the captioner link you would as normal, then copy the link from your address bar and send it to your colleague.
By default, colleagues who open your link will be set to Reader, and you will be set to Writer.
Working with it
The Writer can write, the others cannot.
If you're Writer, you can press F2 to signal to your colleagues that you need someone else to continue. They will see their status change to Unknown and your status changes to Reader.
If you're Reader, you can press F2 to become Writer. You'll then have to continue from the point in the text that you can see at that point, regardless if there is text coming in from your colleague. This is to prevent a spotty connection from throwing a wrench in the text your client sees.
